Photography Trip
Summary
It was an 8 hour drive from Singapore to Fraser's Hill with 2 rest
stops in between and sandwich lunch in the car while driving 500
KM up north. We
left Singapore at 9:30 am and arrived the GAP (820 m ) just before 5:00 pm.
Bird photography is one of the most challenging
field in nature photography. You need the right equipment and be in
the right place at the right time. Your knowledge of bird
behavior will help you locate and find the birds. Lastly, you need
some luck and lots of patience.
Here are a collection birds and plants from Fraser's Hill. Taken mainly with
Olympus E-1 with 300mm f/2.8 ( equivalent to 600 mm f/2.8 in 35 mm
format for birds) on tripod and fill-in flash. For plants, I use
mainly the 50-200mm zoom with extension tubes and fill-in flash.
